Kevin and Julie Breaux opened Cypress Credit, Inc. in April, 1995, with a very definite idea of what they wanted it to be…..a service-oriented business, providing a variety of loan products to suit all individual needs while striving to make sure each customer is happy with their financial decisions.  Being family owned has enabled them to maintain this high standard.

   In 2003 Cypress Mortgage Lending Services (CMLS) was added as a subsidiary.  The expansion into mortgage lending was made after customers persistently expressed the overwhelming need for a mortgage lender who puts their interests first.  It has proven to be so beneficial to our customers that they consistently refer family and friends to CMLS. 

  CMLS makes every effort to put 1st time home buyers into a home of their own, with the lowest interest rate and payment possible.  A mortgage loan can be very intimidating, but CMLS keeps the process as simple and stress-free for their clients as possible.

  Clients who are already homeowners often need to refinance an existing mortgage to lower their interest rate and payment, or to cash out their home equity for debt consolidation, repairs, remodeling, and other cash needs.  CMLS has a wide variety of mortgage loan products, virtually a program for every need, whatever the need. 

   More good news……CMLS works just as hard for clients with past credit problems as they do for those with perfect credit.  With the programs now available, everybody has a chance……a very good chance!

  Kevin and Julie feel that sticking to their original goal and high-standards is the reason the business has been successful and why it continues to grow.   The new Cypress Building in Baton Rouge now houses a complete staff of professional loan officers and processors, each one knowledgeable, each one ethical.  The Breauxs would have it no other way.

 What was a good idea in 1995 continues to be a good idea - provide sound financial advice and services, treat clients like family so that each one will feel good about recommending your company to others.
